There is a story in everything

I am still trying to find my feet on Medium but I am beginning to enjoy writing here. Now that a few of my friends from another writing site have also become members here I am being inspired to write and read more than I had done previously.

Recently, three of those friends, Pamela Oglesby, Misbah Sheikh, and Linda Lum, have challenged me to join them in a 10-word story writing challenge. The challenge was originally posted here by Sheri Jacobs.

I could find where anyone actually stated clearly how many stories we were required to write. Some seem to have written six, others eight, or ten. Well, there were ten commandments, so I have also written ten stories.

Thank you everyone for the challenge.

The Ten Commandments

Ten 10 Word Stories

  1. He reached for the hand beneath the rubble, and wept.

2. The deceased watched the coffin being lowered. The deception worked.

3. “It takes two to tango.”

“Yes, but I don’t dance!”

4. I came out of the closet. I wish I hadn’t.
