A 75% read ration is great, I have achieved that in a few articles but my average sits at around 60%. With 350 articles here over five years (and you write well) I would have thought you would have seen one boost at least.

I have only been here a little over two years, but last year had six articles boosted …. This year, however, … NONE, even though I have written more. All of my boosts were for poetry, and since AI raised its head, Medium doesn’t seem to think most poetry worthy anymore (though AI written poetry sucks so it should be easy to tell.)

I think getting boosted is a bit of a lottery now. I hear of certain writers being boosted almost weekly, while the rest of us just languish with pennies for our efforts.

I read the advice of others who say the Boost squad look for articles that have the “personal touch” and teach the reader valuable lessons. But, my attempts at that have been fruitless, so I don’t know. I think you have to have a “boostable” name.
