…liated stare. Genuine friendships were difficult and a distant dream, confidence was a hollow cave. I liked people who didn’t like me, and likewise. My heart was inexpressive and emotionless, with a dearth of tears on display, but deep empathy and kindness resided in one crimson corner, to be used in small fractions.
