A touching article. I can relate to all the "bullshit advice" that you receive when loved ones die. My two parents died within a year of each other, my mother from heart-break at losing my dad I am sure. My wife lost a sister and brother (both under 50) within a year of each other to brain cancer. I once wrote a poem called "Don't say sorry!" aimed at people who always say that when someone passes. Thank you for sharing, your story, David.
