A wonderful article, Mariana. It was good to read about your writing process.

For me, writing is something natural. I write when I have something to tell. I write when I have something interesting to retell, no matter if it is even a fiction story. I write poetry when too intense feelings overwhelm me, and I must find a way to soothe them.
