A wonderful piece of poetry, Rolando.

…ast, 
a pot on the kitchen stove, 
the unmade bed, 
the remains of soap in the sink, 
a toothbrush,
all this is the property of someone 
for whom the house is allways waiting, 
and when you enter,
you feel the presence of the past,
like a kind of specter,
in long, long waits for the ghosts
returning from another dimension
to smile again
talk, hug
and make love as before

A wonderful piece of poetry, Rolando. I can relate to this feeling when entering a home that has previously been lived in. you can always sense the essence in some way of those who have been before.
