Adrian, I hope this experiment of a slightly longer article pays off. It was still well within my reading range. I really struggle with reads over six minutes with too many sophisticated words and fancy adjectives.

I can relate to everything you say, and if the payment algorithm has in fact reverted to how it was before August, I will lose a lot of motivation as well. My last story -poem ‘Keto the Peacemaker’ (even after your engagement) has still only made 76 cents even though it has more than 1k of claps and lots of comments … so I am getting worried. I hope this is just a glitch, and things improve soon.

Maybe all the big money earners from before August , who experienced a drop in income, have complained to the Medium gods and had things turned around. I guess we just have to wait and see. If they have changed things I hope they make an announcement so we do know what is going on.
