Alan, thank you for sharing your thoughts and decision on this. I haven’t joined yet, but I am leaning towards it. I am a very cautious person by nature and never jump at new things. I tend to wait to see if there are teething problems or bugs before I commit.

Browsing through my closest friends and followers profiles shows it is probably about 50/50 in the take up so far. Each post I read about the “Friends of Medium” upgrade, brings me closer to joining.
