Ally, this was a lovely poem. You are fortunate you live so close to the beach. You do need to visit more often. I spent a lot of my childhood living close to the beach and even as a young adult visited every weekend.

Now, I live too far away and miss it so much. There is something in the interaction of the sand and the sea that is unlike anything else. I need to go back.
