An excellent poem, Tristan. I really liked the "poet's note" at the end as well.

…hor for the vast, sometimes turbulent landscape of young love and self-discovery. The reference to “Jack” and “vodka” hints at coping mechanisms I was beginning to recognize, even if I didn’t fully understand their implications at the time.
