Anathema...interesting word. I have never heard it before. I'm not sure what to say about your poem and article other than...the poem is quite powerful. I can see why you would have such confused feelings over your dad's passing. because both my wife's siblings passed away from brain disease ... sister at 49 and brother at 57...she is constantly wondering how long she has. It's hard not to, when people around you are dying at the same age or younger. Thank you for sharing this, Martin. Sometimes it is just good to write about stuff to give you some relief.
