Keeley Schroder’s prompt for Day 4 of her March Madness Challenge was:

  • What’s your lucky number?

I have not been participating each day as I should but using a selection of the prompts for inspiration to write something, especially if another writer has tagged me in them. This one appealed to me so I am responding here, even though I am a few days late. I apologize to Keeley Schroder, but better late than never.

Once upon a time I won a raffle with ticket number 48. It was so long ago that I can’t even remember what prize I won, but because 48 was the number I won with, I started to consider that my lucky number. The only problem was I never had success using that ever again.

I decided to rethink my reasoning of how to determine my lucky number and came to the conclusion that it is actually Six (6) and I will hereby attempt to explain why.

The number 6is a symbol of completeness.
Number 6 symbolizes beauty and high ideals.
Number 6 is a Perfect Number
The Pythagoreans acknowledged number 6 to be the first perfect number.
