Another excellent piece of writing advice, Nour. I agree we need to keep our writing simple if writing for the social reader. We are not witing an academic paper here -- well most aren't I'm sure. I write a lot of poetry and some poems can be very cryptic and difficult for a reader to interpret, but I always try to convey my message in clear easy to understand language. I may combine humor and seriousness in a piece, but hopefully can do that affectively.

I have read a few articles recently that I just could not understand or grasp the point of. In those instances, I have to decline to comment.
