As a white male, I have always seen black as beautiful. When younger I was always trying to make my skin darker by getting sun tanned. Most of my heroes were black athletes, singers, and celebrities. I think some of the most beautiful women in the world are black, and I certainly don’t see dark skin as ugly.
True, many of us want to be want we aren’t, and are attracted to what is different than what we see as the norm. So, I guess that could be my excuse.
