Celeste, don’t worry about the “what ifs”… just keep writing and drawing and doing what you love. Publish away if you have that goal. Whether you succeed or not doesn’t matter.

At least you can say you tried. If you become famous you can still be a recluse like Banksy for example. There are also lots of writers who use pen names, and who people have never seen. I am also shy and reclusive, but I rarely even contemplate the “what ifs,” I just write because ai love it. Excellent article, and food for thought.
