Keeley’s Challenge Day 23

  • Write a haiku about anything in your day-to-day life

Once again, I admit that I am a dipper:

a dipper is one who enjoys the idea of a challenge but cannot possibly sustain the habit of writing every single day; a dipper may choose to dip in and out of the prompts when inspiration calls or time permits.

I think I am doing quite well on these challenges this month. I think this is the third I have taken part in 23 days so far. Not bad!

I haven’t written a haiku in a while, so this challenge was a good excuse to do just that. In fact, I wrote six!

Mutsu no haiku (Six Haiku)

  • As the weather cools
It is perfect out of doors
    Not too hot to work
  • So much on my plate
I’m not sure how I will cope
    But somehow, I will
  • Vacuuming the floor
    A chore I greatly dislike
    But can’t let dust rule
