Dixie, I am sorry you suffered trauma due to this heart
Ess teacher’s uneducated comments. I can relate because a teacher once told us ( I think year six) that our daughter was too learning challenged and would never make it academically and should concentrate on being a social butterfly.
We found out she had dyslexia and after getting her corrective coloured lenses he grades improved, but this was a disgusting comment to make.
They tried to enrol her in special education classes but she came home and said she didn’t want to continue because they treated her like a baby and tried to get her to read preschool books etc. She passed her Junior exams by the way, and now runs her own art yarn creating and selling business.
Never take a teacher’s word and advice without getting a second opinion from an expert.
