Excellent narrative poem, Douglas. My eldest son always tested the teachers because he wouldn’t settle for a basic answer, he always continued to ask why. If they couldn’t give him a definitive answer he would research it himself, then go back to class the next day and tell the teacher what he found. Some appreciated that, some didn’t.

I think those suggesting philosophy or religion would go closest. God chose to form the dew into water globes on leaves because he thought it beautiful.
