Good advice, Debra. I probably read at least 20 posts for everyone I publish. I rarely tag anyone unless they have specifically asked me to either. As for begging people to read your stuff or follow you...nope...they either like what you write and choose to do that of their own accord, or not at all.

I think claps are important to show you enjoyed reading something (when I first joined I questioned why you needed to clap more than once but know better now) and always give 50 if I read an article right through. Those who think they are too big to reply or at least clap for a comment, however, won't keep my following for long. It is a two-way street here.
