Good for you, that is a little win to be able to return something that isn’t “right.” I have always struggled with doing that for some reason. I would often rather just put up with something than make a fuss. Not that the waiter, store assistant, whatever isn’t usually accepting and apologetic etc. but it’s just me.
Since I have been a freelance writer though, this has changed a little. My clients will request changes if something I write isn’t perfect, so I am gradually learning to do the same. It isn’t easy, but one small step at a time.
