Hi Alex, thanks for asking the question. I never have anything sit in my drafts folder for more than 24 hours, and have never had more than two at a time.

I always write my first drafts in a word program on my computer or in notes on my iPad first so I always have a backup copy in case something happens at Medium or wherever else I may ultimately publish them.
