My wife and I used to have a group of friends who hosted regular dinner parties, the difference was we all took turns of providing the home to host, but everyone brought a plate or dish of food to share. We don't live in that city anymore, so now only host the occasional dinner with maybe one other couple. This was interesting, but a little embarrassing for you in regard to the coffee.
