I always loved Dr. Who, but I haven’t actually watched an episode since Peter Capaldi finished as the Doctor. I agree with you that they should try to keep historical figures as they were. Most of the Doctors have been quirky, so I don’t have a problem with who they have in that role, and they will change in time anyway,
