I am a member of both Medium and HubPages. I have been a member there for 14 years, and have around 650 articles on HubPages and the most I have earned is $25 per month, though I do write mostly poetry and short fiction (which don't do well there), I do have articles about writing, history, etc.

I find Medium much better... in two years writing regularly I am making more than ten times that at least each month. I joined Vocal but have never written there. Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this article.
