I am very happy with what Medium pays. An example is I have been a member of HubPages, another writing site, for 15 years. I have written 650 articles there nd the most I have ever made was $22 per month.

I have been at Medium about three years and have written about the same number of articles. I am averaging about $180 per month, but have made as much as $750 (August 2023.)
