I can certainly sympathise with you, Brenda. Mine decided not to work one day a month back, but when it eventually turned on it seemed to have reset and all my writing files and photos were gone. I thought I would have to start afresh, and was not happy. Two days later all the files were miraculously back. I know it did a Microsoft Edge update at the time so maybe it was somehow caused by that.
