I can feel your frustration, Carlo. Sometimes we contemplate why we write and if it is worth the effort we put in, but as a writer it is something we just have to do whether we stare at a blank screen for hours or not. I used to try to write for a boost, but I gave that up long ago, and don't ever expect one anymore. I just write what I feel I must and get satisfaction if people read it. A powerful poem that gets its message across.
