I can understand the angst of high-earning writers whose monthly income here has fallen off a cliff. I write mainly poetry, humour, and short stories, and the odd article (very odd) and was surprised that this month’s earnings are ten times the most I have earned in any month before (admittedly with one boosted poem.) The boost was a significant part, but even without that the increase was substantial.
