I do understand your concerns, Melissa. I too have always had my reservations (and still do) about the amount of influence many are placing on AI. The world would be a sad place if all writing and creative content becomes AI generated.
Until my freelancing site told writers in order to stay current and still be able to compete, we had to learn how to incorporate AI into our work, and even had run courses in how to do this, I was against it too.
It isn’t going to just go away, so we need to learn how to find a balance as to what percentage of our work can be AI generated or something, but it seems like a difficult thing to do. I still don’t feel it can replicate true human emotion, sense of humour etc.
