I guess you could take it as a compliment, but it still kinda sucks. I had the same thing happened recently … was told a piece of fiction I submitted to a publication had been detected as “a strong likelihood of being AI written” … well, that was a surprise.

I did make a few changes that I hoped would make it appear less AI generated (as though I even know what that entailed.) At least the editor believed me and still published. The detectors are obviously far from perfect …just like AI itself.
