One morning
Late from work
Your odd trek began with the left foot
As you stepped out of sequence
And walked into the space between seconds
Unreached by the minute hand
As the hours congregated like water in a bowl
You could only look up and through
What was expected and what could have been
Speak Calmly of a Dream
