I was only six. I think we had only just gotten our first TV. I can remember seeing it on the 6 o’clock news.
I remember the lunar landing more clearly and that all the students were seated in front of the TV in the school library to watch that. Strangely, we also got to do that for Heavy Weight World Title fights, and I remember watching Ali win while at school.
