Random word 158: “kiss”

The police forensics investigation of Ramsay’s condo only found a lipstick kiss impression left on the bathroom mirror. There was not another scrap of evidence to prove this was a homicide.

Charlie revised his manuscript adding a postscript to the last story “Death of a Chef” and titled it “Just Desserts.”

“Some people think they are untouchable or immortal, that everything they touch will turn to gold. Overt wealth and fame often seem to have that effect.

It is funny how a simple accident such as a live electrical appliance coming in contact with water can quickly change that perception.”

Most of my previous drabbles have been published at Fiction Shorts but as I have fallen so far behind, I am publishing most now under my own profile. I am still using the daily random words kindly provided by Nancy Oglesby. I may or may not utilize the twist or genre depending on if it fits the story.
