Linda, I can't really comment, because even though I am Australian I have never heard of the brand Orowheat or Australian Toaster Biscuits. How sad is that? I won't say that they look like English crumpets (which I do like) because I am sure they are taller, lighter and fluffier as you say.

I guess I will just have to use your recipe and make some to experience the difference.
