Misbah, as a member of HubPages I was there to witness what you went through. You were treated unfairly in more ways than one … even from a so called friend.

I am still a member there but have only published one piece there in the last six months. There is no incentive, and it doesn’t pay. I am currently making about $5.00 per month, and the most I ever made in a month was $23.00 even though I have over 650 pieces there.

I have had an article unpublished there as staff said it was AI generated, even though it wasn’t. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back with my writing there. Especially when I checked another writer’s work, who seemed to be publishing more than one piece a day. I put three of their articles through an AI check and they all came up 100% AI written…and all are still published on HubPages.

You made the right decision coming to Medium where you are a valued member, with many friends, and have made a great success of The Hub Publication. Thank you for inviting me to follow you to Medium.

Here we are made to feel that our writing, especially poetry, has value and is appreciated. I don’t know how many times I had arguments in forums on HubPages with people saying poetry didn’t have a place there and was bringing the site down. Thank you for sharing your story, my friend.
