Much food for thought here, James. You are right of course, most people can't be bothered arguing with someone who obviously has a closed mind ... unless they just deliberately seek confrontation and to annoy, rather than debate.

I rarely write anything too controversial but I did receive a comment on one article simply saying "I disagree." no explanation of why or their opinion. I said, "Thank you for your opinion" hoping they may expand, but they never did.
