Meanwhile, convicted murderer, celebrity chef Jamie Ramsay’s appellate attorney had approached the Court of Appeals (Circuit Court) lodging an appeal on his client’s behalf.

“I wish to advise that my client, the petitioner, wishes to appeal his conviction and sentence, based on misleading accusations with no foundation, and the introduction of late evidence that had not been presented to the defense prior to the jury retiring to consider the verdict.”

With that the attorney handed the judge a written brief outlining all the grounds for appeal and full list of arguments supporting the overturning of his high-profile client’s conviction.

What is a Drabble?

Most flash fiction is identified as stories under 1000 words. Many short-form publications require you to stay under 150 words. A drabble is a short fiction story of exactly 100 words.

I find drabbles to be an excellent exercise in keeping your writing tight because it forces you to discard any unnecessary words.
