Oh Ahlam, this is brilliant, both the poem and your commentary. It is so sad that many of us lose the childhood wonder and questioning, because life happens and the opinions of others start to mean more than our imagination.

In your poem I could read a child’s imagination expressed through the words of an adult. When I grow up I want to be able to write like you 😉
