Oh, Michael. I am glad you have found a new awareness regarding modern libraries. They are not dinosaurs at all, but very innovative, always offering educational activities for children, holding writing classes etc etc. they provide cheap and easy access to technology for those who don’t have it at home. They even hire out audio books that you can download from home.
Most are bright and welcoming, and a pleasant place to just go and relax, if that is your desire. If I have to accompany my wife to town for any reason, and have to wait, I would rather do that in a library than most other places.

I may be biased because I spent 10 years working in a library. But, they are certainly not dinosaurs. Congratulations on the boost.
