probably the one piece of advice about writing that I hear the most is that you must have a niche. To me this is the biggest piece of crap, and the last thing I want to do. If I had to write constantly about one subject or topic I would bore myself to death.

I find most readers love variety.

It would be like the advertising overkill.

If you look at or buy a certain product you are constantly bombarded with more ads for the same or similar, and you soon get sick of the sight of them.
