Thank you for sharing this. $19,000 is a huge amount, and congratulations to Michelle for achieving this. That said I don’t think it fair that boost nominators can nominate two of their own stories each month. Maybe one a month tops. Fair enough if they are nominated by another editor.

I also think there should be a maximum amount a boost can bring, then more funds could be distributed among the lower earners.
