Thank you for sharing this, Bella. I don’t know the names you mention but it sounds like a case of sour grapes by someone whose previously huge income has taken a nosedive when Medium changed to their “fairer” approach.

The uneven distribution of money went on for far too long here, and many of those so called “top writers” just churned out whatever came to their mind without a worry and counted their thousands each month.

With the changes, so many previously unknown, but “better” writers are getting more exposure and making the money they deserve.

Nick Wignall may have left Medium, but Bella Smith and John Hansen are still here, so things are looking great in my book.
