Thank you for sharing this traumatic experience, Linda. Yes, negligence was shown but it wasn’t deliberate. In those days people didn’t sue each other for everything. How long did it take you to recover?
I remember breaking my wrist at school and the teacher saying it was probably just a sprain, but my arm swelled up and I couldn’t turn it. My parents took me to the doctor and he said it was broken. I had to have it set and placed in a cast.
