Thank you for sharing your story of enduring and escaping cold winters, Rodrigo. We tend to have long summers and short (only cool) winters here in Queensland, Australia. For that reason I tend to enjoy winter more than summer which tends to be hot and (with increasing storm activity in recent years) very humid.
Portugal and Spain sound wonderful though. I have never experienced snow, so doubt I could cope with Canadian winters.
