Thank you for sharing your writing space with us. I like your new desk, but I know what is like not wanting to get rid of your old one that you had an emotional attachment to. I still use a desk that my father commissioned my woodwork teacher at school to build (and I am not saying how many years ago that was.) It is solid wood though, and must have been built well, as it is still going strong.
