Thanks for the update, Susie. I made a total of $22.43 for January.
The highest six earners (and only articles earning more than $1.00) were all written before January 3rd - some even last year.
My highest earner written after that was a mega article “Farewell Friend of Medium” that earned $0.87.
I wrote 30 articles in January, and my lowest two earners only made $0.03 each.
I really hate to think they have a group of hand picked writers that they still pay normal rates to (if not more at the rest’s expense.)
