Random word: 150 “redound”

Charlie pulled to a stop as close as he safely could to the burning cabin and jumped out. He circled around the perimeter looking for any sign of life, but it didn’t look good.

Even though he knew it was too late, he called Emergency Services. By the time the fire brigade arrived there would be nothing left.

Had this tragedy occurred as a redound to his meddling too closely into certain matters? The thought he was indirectly responsible for his friends Jack and Lucky perishing, devastated him.

Or was it Jack who was the target of this arson attack?
