Mr Reliable strikes again
Random word 178“exhaustive”/Challenge 6/26
What I assumed would be a routine questioning by the police turned into an exhaustive interrogation.
I had trouble convincing the interviewing cop of my alibi of being miles away in a cabin in the woods at the time of the murder.
“The cabin mysteriously burnt down at the time. I reported it to the fire brigade, so check the date with them!
“You can go for now. In the meantime, we will check your story with the fire department.”
I went out to meet Charlie, but Mr. Reliable wasn’t there. I tried to call him but he didn’t answer.
