3: It must rain the entire Story
4: The location is of your own choosing
5: You are blind from birth
6: You are meeting someone for the first time (blind date, excuse the pun)
7: The gender is unimportant
8: Must be written in 1st person POV
9: Not more than 2500 words, hard line.

The Sound of Rain
I woke up to the sound of rain. The alarm hadn’t buzzed, and Sam hadn’t woken me, so it was still before 6am. I rose out of bed anyway and made my way to the bathroom in the dark
Sam greeted me on the way, pushing his body against my leg to help guide me. I had been blind from birth, so I could pretty much find my way unaided around my house without bumping into anything.
