She hadn’t seen her twin brother in ten years, yet there he was, sitting at her kitchen table. Edgar looked both the same and somehow different. His eyes were still that pale, unsettling blue, and his nose, broken more than once, remained slightly crooked. His teeth, always bright and white, were just as she remembered. And yet, something had changed.
